Axiom’s involvement in the environmental sector is broad and varied.
From our origins in the process and manufacturing industries, we have diversified into new and emerging sectors, including those of waste management, renewable energy and environmental sectors.
Axiom’s substantial expertise in chemicals and petrochemicals, energy generation, and hazardous material handling has quickly and easily been transferred into the environmental sector.
These include; bioethanol and biodiesel production, electricity generation from wood burning and from municipal waste burning plants, off-shore wind farm support and anaerobic digester off-gas generating plant support.
Ranging from failure analysis and mechanical engineering support to a sludge drying plant for a major UK utility company to materials engineering support to a small wood burning power generation plant for a Scottish distillery, we are proud to support this fledgling industry.
Axiom’s involvement in the environmental sector is broad and varied, in terms of both technical and commercial challenges, and in terms of client companies involved in the sector.
By its very nature, the environmental sector comprises many small and independent local companies “doing their own thing”, but benefiting from the support, advice and technical expertise available from Axiom.
Renewable Energy – Incinerator plants, biofuel production, anaerobic digester plants, wood chipping and wood burning plants and wind farms are just a few of the areas in which we have helped clients in the past.
